A listing for the Hillcrest Park property, read Oct 15, 2026, calls it a seasonal RV park and marina on North Center Lake, though MHVillage still lists it as a home community. If you plan to live here all year, ask each community whether its sites are open year-round and whether water runs in winter.

In town, Stonegate Cooperative, Blue Waters and Hillcrest Park list themselves as all ages, and Lakeshore Terrace lists an age restriction of 55 and older. Within 15 minutes, Croix Estates and River Bend are also age-restricted; both of ours are open to all ages.

Stonegate Cooperative is a resident-owned community, owned by a cooperative of the homeowners who live there, and it lists boat and RV storage. Shafer Terrace is the only other row that lists storage. At ours, you own your home and rent the land under it.

Zillow's rental market page for Lindstrom puts average rent at $1,400 a month across all bedroom counts and property types, last updated Oct 13, 2026. That figure rests on a small number of listings (five available when we read it on Oct 15, 2026), so it moves month to month.

Lindstrom, the town
Välkommen till Lindström.
The water tower was built in 1908 and retired in 1992, then painted as a Swedish coffee pot that reads Välkommen till Lindström.
Its motto is America's Little Sweden, and statues of Karl Oskar and Kristina stand in town as a tribute to the early Swedish immigrants.

Shafer Terrace and Redfield Court sit next door to each other in Shafer, about 6 minutes from the middle of Lindstrom: past Center City, then out along the highway. Both are open to residents of all ages. Shafer Terrace has boat and RV storage on site; ask Glenn about space and cost.
